UAE Ministry of Justice Portal – 10 Million Hits in 2020 – SADER proud of its collaboration with the UAE Ministry of Justice Legal Portal since 2007
The UAE Ministry of Justice legal portal witnessed 10,000,000 hits in the year 2020 ranging from different countries across the world.
The portal, which is an integrated legal platform, had 29,000 new users from different countries register, most notably according to the percentage of usage after the United Arab Emirates, from the following countries: the United States of America, Egypt, China, the United Kingdom and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
This portal, which was launched in 2007 in collaboration with “SADER”, a household name in the field of legal publishing and the development of legal solutions in the Arab world since 1863, who in turn has been managing it since then. The portal distinguishes itself in the richness of the legal content, which aligns with the Emirati leadership’s vision of furthering the efficiency and excellence of the judicial organs in all its components, and to be the first among nations, especially in the rule of law index.
The content covers a wide range of Emirati legal data, which makes it the reference point for those wishing to obtain such materials, from scholars, researchers and those concerned with legal affairs. The portal provides users with Emirati legislation since 1971, and all the issues of the official gazette since its publication until date, in addition to a wide range of legal issues which are covered, as well as all the agreements signed by the UAE at the regional and global levels, including bilateral and multilateral agreements.
The UAE’s legislation in both Arabic and English comprise the majority of the content, in addition to the international agreements it has signed and the decisions issued by the Federal Court. The portal is considered a platform of legal information in both Arabic and English, as the largest and most popular in the Arab region.
The Ministry of Justice, will thus continue to pursue the vision of the United Arab Emirates, to ensure the smart government and digital transformation. Such leadership, places the UAE as a global visionary in the field of technology, confirming its position as one of the top 20 nations in the Global Competitiveness Index.
