On the occasion of the preparation of SADER's 160th anniversary and within the framework of its social responsibility, Bkassine municipality and Youssef Sader Foundation (YSF) signed a memorandum of understanding on September 15, 2022.
The MoU aims to plant one thousand eight hundred and sixty-three trees (1863) in Bkassin town. This initiative was launched by "SADER" to achieve its sustainable development goals and preserve the natural environment.
As SADER1863's culture centers around the management of ecosystems, knowing Bkassin was recognized by UNWTO and named as one of the Best Tourism Villages in 2021.
The memorandum was signed by the Mayor of Bkassine, the retired lieutenant colonel Mr.Habib Fares, and the President of Youssef Sader Foundation for Legal Culture, Attorney Rany Sader, in the SADER’s Building,
This project will be implemented in two phases. The first phase will be planting 900 trees in September 2022, and 963 trees in October 2023.
Mr. Fares stated his pride in SADER's legacy and this initiative which contributes to preserving Bkassin's nature.
From his side, Attorney Sader stressed the importance of Environment, Social Responsibility, and Governance (ESG), especially as this topic occupies a key position in SADER's daily schedule.
