A launch event for the book "SADER Court Series Jordan – Key Arbitration – Cases 2016-2023" was hosted at The Abdul Hameed Shoman Foundation– authored by lawyer and international arbitrator Dr. Omar Al-Jazi.

The event featured speeches by:

Minister of Justice Dr. Ahmad Ziadat
President of the Jordanian Bar Association, lawyer Yahya Abu Aboud
Dr. Omar Al-Jazi
Chief Legal Innovation Officer at Sader 1863, lawyer Rani Sader

The discussion was moderated by Dr. Sultan Al-Atin.

This special edition of the Sader Judicial Rulings series aims to highlight significant court decisions related to arbitration, supporting practitioners and others interested in the field. The book provides an English translation of key judicial rulings issued by the Court of Cassation between 2016 and 2023, alongside a literal and balanced English translation of Arbitration Law No. 31 of 2001 and its amendments.

Dr. Al-Jazi commented, "Today, we celebrate this joint achievement created with our partner Sader Legal Publications in the Republic of Lebanon, the oldest legal publishing house in the Arab world. Our combined efforts aim to enhance legal knowledge and practice in arbitration. We have worked diligently and professionally to provide a comprehensive and valuable resource for both novice and experienced lawyers in this important field."

Lawyer Rani Sader provided a historical overview of Sader Publishing, established in 1863. He mentioned that in 1868, the publishing house translated Ottoman "firmans" (decrees) into Arabic for the local population to understand the applicable laws. He explained that Sader Publishing was founded to promote knowledge and culture rather than for commercial purposes, noting that he represents the fifth generation of the Sader family. Sader emphasized that Jordan has the potential to become a regional and international arbitration center due to its legal expertise and stability.

The launch event was attended by:

Minister of State for Prime Ministry Affairs Dr. Ibrahim Al-Jazi
Minister of Government Communication Dr. Muhannad Mubaidin
Minister of Social Development Wafa Bani Mustafa
Minister of Culture Haifa Al-Najjar
