{"id":9862,"date":"2022-01-13T12:00:00","date_gmt":"2022-01-13T12:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newsader.tedmob.com\/signature-of-a-memorandum-of-understanding-between-the-lebanese-arbitration-and-mediation-center-and-youssef-sader-foundation-to-promote-the-culture-of-alternative-dispute-resolution-and-the-legal-kn\/"},"modified":"2022-01-13T12:00:00","modified_gmt":"2022-01-13T12:00:00","slug":"signature-of-a-memorandum-of-understanding-between-the-lebanese-arbitration-and-mediation-center-and-youssef-sader-foundation-to-promote-the-culture-of-alternative-dispute-resolution-and-the-legal-kn","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newsader.tedmob.com\/en\/signature-of-a-memorandum-of-understanding-between-the-lebanese-arbitration-and-mediation-center-and-youssef-sader-foundation-to-promote-the-culture-of-alternative-dispute-resolution-and-the-legal-kn\/","title":{"rendered":"Signature of a Memorandum of Understanding between the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center and Youssef Sader Foundation  to promote the culture of alternative dispute resolution and the legal knowledge in Lebanon."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Within the scope of spreading legal culture and developing legal informatics in Lebanon and the Region, the Lebanese Arbitration and Mediation Center (LAMC) and Youssef Sader Foundation (YSF) signed a memorandum of understanding on Tuesday, January 11th &nbsp;to enhance their collaboration in promoting the culture of alternative dispute resolution and the legal knowledge in Lebanon.<\/p>\n<p>The MoU was signed by LAMC Secretary-General, Attorney Rayan Kouatly, and YSF President, Attorney Rany Sader, to define a framework of a partnership between the two parties and to facilitate cooperative activities in order to improve access to legal information and facilitate its exchange with cutting-edge technologies.<\/p>\n<p>This memorandum of understanding will leverage the collaboration between LAMC and YSF, especially, since LAMC, a leading regional arbitral institution, provides high expertise in resolving local and international commercial and business disputes through arbitrations and mediations, and YSF NGO aims to work on spreading legal culture and developing legal informatics in Lebanon and the Region by activating the role of societies and principally the civil ones.<\/p>\n<p>Atty. Kouatly said: &quot;The LAMC will always thrive to keep arbitration as the main justice island, and we are witnessing a dramatic change in Lebanon where arbitration is becoming not an alternative dispute resolution mechanism, but the First and most legitimate Choice to preserve fairness and integrity&quot;.<\/p>\n<p>Atty.
